Potential Issue
In our Canvas course packages, prior to our 5.0+ versions, there is a fake LTI setup. If you are setting the credentials at the account level, you will need to remove this course-level set of credentials to avoid the two fighting and the LTI failing. We have removed this fake set of credentials from the 5.0+ packages.
All packages currently available on the Client Account are version 5.0+, so this only applies to older course packages. It is highly encouraged that you use the current course package available to ensure you are using the latest and greatest version of the course.
Setup Options
There are two options for setting up LTI in Canvas: Per Course or at the Account level. Instructions for both options are below. If you set the LTI at the account level, it will work for all the courses provided by eDynamic Learning. If you set the LTI at the per-course level, you will need to set them on each course provided.
Canvas will not allow you to have two LTI credentials from the same provider at the account level. If you have more than a single set of LTI credentials with us, you will need to follow the instructions for setting LTI at the per-course level or create a sub-account for any additional credentials.
