As with Brainhoney before it, Buzz 2 allows a user to be assigned as an Observer. This means that they can observe a student's progress in a single course or all their courses, see what marks they are receiving, what they are submitting etc. This is a useful tool for parents and/or TA's.
There are two types of Observers possible:
User Observers - These Observers are able to view a specific user's entire course load
Enrollment Observers - There Observers are only able to view a specific enrollment (ie. a single user course).
Creating Observers for a Specific User
1. In the Users screen, click on the User ID you want to make an Observer
2. Click on the Observed Users tab
3. Click on the Plus sign (Add) in the upper right
4. Enter the user you'd like to observe, or click on the menu to the right to select from a list
Creating Observers for a Specific Enrollment
1. In the Users screen, click on the User ID you want to make an Observer
2. Click on the Observed Enrollments tab
3. Click on the Plus sign (Add) in the upper right
4. Enter the Enrollment ID you would like this user to observe
